Kathryn Mays: I love making art. I love my family, Jonathan, husband of 32 years this May, 5 great children and 3 great kids-in- law, one terrific grandson, and my mom and dad. I was raised in Mi. with a love and appreciation of nature. We lived in Dearborn and later, Livonia when I was younger, but had a cottage "up north" on Lake Charlevoix. That was my heaven. We moved to Charlevoix when I was in 7th grade. When I graduated I lived in Ann Arbor for 18 years. Through college, having kids, and then we moved back to Charlevoix. I love both Charlevoix and Ann Arbor and wish I could afford a place in both towns. I have been doing art for a long time, but about 12 years seriously trying to " get it out there". I have a web site which is www.kathrynmays.com so check it out sometime. I love to learn new things and hear new ideas. And yet I have a hard time with change. Like my kids moving away, or moving to a different house or a loved one being sick and changing.
